Shania Twain disclosed about 'blackouts' she used to suffer from during her live performances.

In her new Netflix documentary 'Shania Twain: Not Just A Girl', she revealed about her Lyme disease which nearly ended her career.

Twain was bit by a tick while riding a horse in 2003 which caused this disease to her.

Before Twain found about disease, She was on stage very dizzy and was losing her balance, she thought she was gonna fall off the stage.

She told in her documentary that 'she was having very millisecond blackouts regularly, every minute.'

This illness also led to the development of dysphonia, which caused temporary lose of her voice.

Country star got scared after this, thinking she would never ever sing again. Shania thought she had lost her voice permanently.

She had several surgeries after the loss of her voice.

She is fit and fine now but she feels that her voice has never been the same as it used to be before disease.
