Sadly Pilot Charles Crooks Dies After Exiting Plane Midair

On friday small plane owned by SPORE LTD LLC had to land in emergency at Raleigh Durham International Airport.

There were only two people (both pilot) when plane took off but one of the pilot died while plane was trying to get to the ground safely.

Report says, North Carolina pilot who died either jumped or fell from the plane and unfortunately died before its landing.

Police identified the pilot who died in this incident as Charles Hew Crooks.

Crooks was not wearing a parachute and was found dead near Sunset Lake Road and Hilltop Needmore Road in a Fuquay-Varina neighborhood.

The pilot who survived had minor injuries and was immediately taken to the local hospital.

Actually plane lost its right wheel which forced them to do emergency landing.

Authorities believe Crooks' body fell about 3500 feet.

Police is unsure if pilot died before the fall. No proper evidence is found yet and it remains mystery why he jumped.
