Cancer Chemical Found in Banana Boat Sunscreen 

Banana Boat sunscreen has been found to be containing unexpected levels of benzene which is a cancer causing chemical.

Leukemia can occur to a person if benzene is exposed through skin contact, inhalation and by mouth.

They said propellant that sprays the product out of the can is the reason behind benzene.

Company has recalled 3 batches of its 'hair and scalp' sunscreen.

Banana Boat said the recalled products have expiration dates of December 2022, February 2023 and April 2024.

They said company will repay every person who spent their money for buying recalled products.
