Rapper Half Ounce is shot and killed by a man in a dark suit

Latauriisha O'Brien, who was well known by his stage name "Half Ounce," was killed by a gunshot on October 3rd, 2022 in 700 block of South New Hampshire Avenue in Koreatown.

Around 11:30 in the morning, several gunshots were fired at the 32-year-old rapper by a man, which brutally killed him.

The incident occurred while he was on the phone with his wife, who is expecting their fourth child, according to the police.

Police were unclear with the identification, but his family confirmed the dead body to be that of O'Brien.

Medical reports officially confirmed that it was the body of the rapper who died on the spot of gunfire.

An investigation is going on and no exact clues have been found by the police. It is not clear why and who killed the artist.

According to the investigation reports, the man who assassinated O'Brien was wearing black clothes and fled in a dark SUV.

This was the third case in a month where a rapper has been killed. In September, PnB Rock and Kee Riches were killed in Los Angeles.
