Shania Twain in her new documentary 'Not Just A Girl', revealed very much about her personal matters.
She revealed, her father was violent but her mother fully supported her music dream.
Her mother used to take shania to local bars to sing when her father was asleep.
Twain grew up in a violent household but she locked herself away with music so ignore family chaos.
Unfortunately, her parents died in a car accident in 1987 and then Twain indulged herself into music totally.
She told in her documentary that her mother used to encourage her saying, 'You can make it, you're going to make it.'
After her parents were gone she was in a intense grief but had a feeling of liberation.
Later in her life she diagnosed with Lyme disease which took her voice and she felt she would never be singing again.
She gives all credit of her success to her mother for being so much supportive and giving shape to her music career.
