The most amazing NBA legend Bill Russell will be remembered forever after his death at the age of 88 on 31 July 2022.
He won 11 NBA championships in his 13 years with the Boston Celtics.
He was a five time NBA Most Valuable Player in 1958, 1961-1963 and 1965.
Russell was the first Black head coach. He really transformed pro basketball.
In 1975, He became the first black player to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

He always took advantage of his height (6"9') to defend and block shots.
